Meet Laura

Laura Crossman (she/her) is the owner of The Edit and is a Saskatoon-based artist with a working background primarily in film and theatre. Her rich tapestry of experience weaves through the realms of costuming and the Art Department in Saskatchewan’s growing film scene—and now she begins her chapter in the local luxury department with The Edit. A longtime friend of 1104 Central Ave, Laura will amplify the legacy of the neighbourhood’s beloved consignment store with a new look while maintaining the curation of high quality, pre-owned garments and accessories.

Laura is curiously creative and her CV includes but is not limited to: building puppets; wardrobe for music videos; props and sets for local theatre groups, short films and commercials. Her multifaceted expertise from sewing to sculpting and everything in-between will surely bring a conscious curation of elegant treasures. Where second hand high-end style meets sustainability.
